I read the book and it pales in comparison with the first installment. There is a different writing style for this book and some of the info in this book contradicts the info in the first book. I think that vol 1 was much more informative and less "tampered with" than this book. I feel that for a sequel this book reads as if it was written before the first book with less infomation. The 1st book covered a larger expanse of history, 10's of thousands of years ago, that was not mainstream with very good references and it stuck true to its name. It stayed on the subject of Ethiopians. This book deals in about 5000 years ago. It references the Gods as being kings of more recent ancient history... While in the first book it acknowledges that the Gods as ppl belong to farther antiquity...Such as the Anu ppl that vastly predate predynastic egypt and even the Himyaritic Kings of Arabia that go back 10's of thousands of years. There seems to be an underlying agenda in this book to make the Ethiopians a part of the Caucasian race which they are NOT. Just from the standpoint of genetics alone. They would have been the 1st race and all others even Dravidians would have had to come from them. It attributes the accomplishments of the Ethiopians to the dark white race or dravidians. Which is not accurate. There are also alot of Biblical refereces in this book but the writing style of the 1st author did not have that. I think that the Editor of this book added too much of a "modern" historical thought process to the original authors work and it put a black eye on the series. There is a noticable difference between the little known facts and pro blackness of the first book and the attempted white-washing of the second. After reading the 1st book I am very disappointed in this book and wouldn't recommend it to any serious history or african cultural student. Its like someone is intentionally trying to mislead the reader

This book was very fascinating and confirmed many of the notions of the ancient empire of the Ethiopians, which is older, however is not given its just due, in light of the fanaticism of their sister Egypt, as if that is the only civilization that was bred in Africa. A few other books I have read referenced this particular book as one of its sources, which I found intriguing and delightful. The author goes into great detail to explain the origins, cultures, and migrations of not only the Kushites/Ethiopians, but also the early prehistoric African ancestors. The author also includes her source contributors as well, which has led me to research and read their works as well, in order to substantiate and expound on the topic. The information is thoroughly detailed and so descriptive the images are born in mind with clear and utter vividness. The only negative I would say is the author attempts to show her affinity to her religious affiliation and tie in biblical literature references to her writings to validate her point, which is unnecessary, since actual true World History, archaeology and paleontology is more than adequate and will suffice. This is definitely a must read for anyone who is a serious student of African Studies, for it is certainly one for the library and a joy to read.

Supplied the book as advertised by the seller. This is a book everybody must read. Helps the reader understand the importance of knowing the truth which open a whole new perspective how we see things. Spirituality, Technology, Science, Art, Music, Social life, Agriculture, Medicine, Justice, etc. have once existed, created, developed and killed or died. This book reveals that All or most of the important human achievements that benefit humanity have been some how attributed to or influenced by Ethiopians. This book helped me bring together the pieces of information I got to make the picture as solving a puzzle. How does Ethiopia managed to build those Rock-Hewn churches Lalibela with all its perfect beauty and complexity, The Axum Stelas with all its perfect beauty and complexity, the clergy's knowledge of making great computation and math, indefinite or life long calendar easily, lots of organic information on pyramids, amazing paintings, great furniture made out of a single wood without any joints, great architecture, a very rich unique documentation on most of human achievements listed above.
